Dear Bill,

            I have finalized the ballot for the Newport Landing Homeowners & Lake Association from Tuesday’s meeting.  The final vote tallies, counting all submitted ballots from all sources are as follows:

                        Karen Verdirame                                    106

                        Lawrence R. James II (Chip)                71

                        Tom Forrest                                                41

                        Hugh Morton                                             38

                        Skip Stepanek                                             35

            Just as announced at the meeting, the three (3) directors of the Association elected for 2011 are William H. Fleming, Karen Verdirame and Lawrence R. James, II.

            A total of fourteen (14) proxies were received by my office prior to the meeting, two of which did not count because of unpaid dues.  Based upon the number of distinct ballots received, there were approximately 42 lot owners present at the meeting.  Please note that this number is taken from the number of unique owners with ballots submitted at the meeting.  Proxy ballots submitted by those who were not in attendance may be included in this number.
